President : Rocket (Ron Hodgson). - email
Hi and welcome to our Website. My name is Ron (Rocket) and I have the honour of been elected as the clubs 1st President. I have served 24 years in the Royal Air Force in places as far apart as Germany, Norway, Denmark, Falklands, Turkey, Belize to name but a few. I retired in 1997. I am married to Linda (a.k.a. Liddy) and we have three children and two grand children. I have been riding bikes now since I was 15 years of age, passing my test in 1975. I am currently the proud owner of a Harley Road King Custom which is my fifth Harley. Probably the only Bike that is big enough for me as I'm not a small bloke. If you are interested in joining our club and you have the desire to be around like minded people again. Please get in touch vie my email.
Vice President : Spence
Hi I'm Spence, married to Treacle and between us we have 5 offspring.
I served in the Royal Signals from 1979 - 1991, working in Cyprus, BAOR, UKLF, NI and FI.
I continued my travels in civvy street but have now settled in the West Midlands and commute daily to my workplace in Gloucestershire.
I never thought I'd experience the camaradarie of 'craic' of the forces again, until I met the people of this club - and after several years membership, it feels more and more like I haven't 'joined' a club, but have been 'adopted' by an extended family.
If you ever 'Join' you'll discover and understand what I mean.
Club Treasurer : Liddy - email
Hi, my name is Linda, better known as Liddy. I am at present the elected Club Treasurer. I am Ron's better half. We have three grown up children who grew up following their Dad around the world and I am now blessed with two wonderful grand children, I've always enjoyed being a passenger on the back of Ron's bike through the years, but in a mad time of my life decided that it was time I had my own bike. I purchased a beautiful Harley Sporster 1200L. This was converted by Hayden and his crew at the Trike Shop in Wales. Unfortunately my Arthritis decided to kick in so it had to be sold, however I will be on three wheels in the not to distant future hopefully. I have the daunting task as Treasurer, looking after Club funds, and generally being Mum to all the members. If this club is what you've been looking for and you think you would like to join, don't hesitate to get in touch with me or any other committee member via the email link. See you on the road.
Luv Liddy x
I'm Tel I joind the army in the 60s (Royal Engineers) about the same time as I bought my first bike a BSA BANTAM 125. bootiful it was, pastel green, 50 mph down hill, then a EXELSIOR talisman twin.that was good for about 70 mph..since then loads of jap-crap till i discovered harleys about 15 years ago now i dont ride anything else.
I joined this club in its infancy ( when you could put yer badges were you liked) .and have watched it grow into the profesional outfit it is today.
I am proud to wear the AAVMCC badge, and I am proud to call anyone else who wears it BROTHER.
Hi. my name is Graham. A.K.A. Scaley and I am the Northern area Sgt at Arms for the AAVMCC. Actually, I am also the oldest member of the club.
My first legal machine was a Triumph T Bird 650 pre unit and later moved on to a Vincent Black Prince ( which I had to sell for £300 ) but thats a story for another day.
I first joind the Kate (Army) in 1959 3rd Btln the Manchester Regt. but after a couple of years transfered to The Royal Corps of Signals. Hence the name Scaley where I stayed mooching around strange places untill demob in 1970.
Its always said that the best mates you ever had were those you knew in the forces and thats true, but this true friendship and brotherhood and sisterhood is found in spadefulls in the AAVMCC so if you dont mind propping up the bar with true Brothers in Arms and riding together to great weekend parties then this is the club for you.
If you want to know more, please contact me or any one of the officers and we will be only too glad to help, and maybe you can come as a guest to one of our functions to meet us in the flesh (so to speak)
Keep the rubber side down.
Respects.
The Scaley

Sooty - Northern Rep
Been into bikes all my life. First ride was a Honda C50 stepthrough at the age of 15. Used to take it out whilst me mam was at bingo, then rush back to cool it down before she came home. Well it was hers after all, LOL. Since then I've had the following, SS50 - Z200 - Z250 - GSX 600 - GSXF 600 - HONDA ST 1100 - now ride a XJ 600 or a Heritage Softail 1450. Whilst in the forces I rode Canam's (when you could keep them running) and Armstrongs (when you could start them). Spent 10yrs with the forces, the first 6yrs doing a lot of field training, then moved onto the R.C.T. This was short lived and was soon transfered across to their R.E.M.E. support team. Here I stayed for the last 4yrs, in which time I got married and divorced.Been out the mob since 1990-1991 ish, back with ex-girlfriend (now married) She used to hate the hell out of the forces but still loved bikes. Since joining the All Arms Veterans in the early days have never looked back. Wifes settled down a bit and does'nt go off on one when you mention the forces so much now (though it touches a nerve at times) If you feel this is the club for you and are yet again ready to sign that dotted line and commit yourslef to this life style feel free to e-mail me.
Southern Rep ~ Buzz
Hiya, I’m Buzz the Southern Rep and I’m based down on the south coast. I joined the Army, Royal Pioneer Corps, (yep I’m a chunkie) in 1983, traveled all over the gaff, some exotic, some not so exotic. Done 20 years till they med discharged me. My love for bikes started when I was 8 with some old scooter thing, moving on up to a BSA bantam when I was 12. I’ve owned and rode bikes all my life from British iron through to Jap crotch rockets. These days you’ll catch me on a Harley or my faithful old gs850.
This club has all that you would expect from a forces background ,the banter , the feeling of being a part of something and most of all camaraderie. If this is up your street check us out at the many rally’s we do, or give us a shout. Cheers, Buzz
Home Counties Rep
Hi, I'm Peter Home Counties Rep (road name Pancho) I joined the Army in 1969 and after training at the Rifle Depot Winchester; I joined the 2 nd Battalion Royal Green Jackets. I was posted to Northern Ireland , Belize , Gibraltar and Catterick (As Bilko says ‘the arsehole of all postings') I left the Army in 1975. I have had various jobs ever since and currently work for a Freight Forwarding Company.
I got my first bike back in the 70's and have been riding on and off ever since. I currently ride an 1100 Dragstar Classic and joined the AAVMCC in April 2005. I have made a lot of good friends in the Biker scene but none better than the Guys of this club. The comradeship and warped sense of humour is exclusive to those who are serving and to those who have served in the Forces. I am married to Carolyn who also rides and have two grown up children (from a previous marriage) and now find that I have an extended family by the name of AAVMCC.
West Country Rep
Awaiting information.
Borders Rep.
My name’s Seadog, Although for some reason my family call me John. I left the Royal Navy in 2001 having proudly served my country for 32 years, the last 25 of those as an Engineer in nuclear submarines. Two years on HMS/m Valiant and 12 years on HMS/m Churchill took me through to 1990; thereafter I was shore based in Faslane, Scotland and now live in Cumbria with wife Sue.
Have rode motorcycles all my life starting with BSAs in the late 60s, moving on to four stroke Hondas and finally Harley Davidsons – I now ride a 2005 Fatboy that I have had from new. During the early 80s I raced on the Kent Grasstrack circuit and have the scars to prove it!
It’s my privilege to be the Borders Rep of our great club. If you are a biker and a serving or former member of the Armed Forces, share our values of camaraderie, brotherhood and respect for each other, and are interested in joining us, drop me an e mail.
We Come Unseen - Hearts Of Oak.
This position will remain the responsibility of Spence the Vice President until a new Midlands Area Rep is elected.
Northern Ireland Rep.
Hello folks, I'm known as Badger and I'm the rep for N Ireland. I currently live in Greyabbey with my wife Caron and two jack russels, and ride a black (Is there any other colour) FLHR. I've been in the club since 2004 and seen the club grow from strength to strength under the leadership of Rocket, Tug and all in the committee until we now have a hard core of decent members who care for each other and party several times a year both in the UK and overseas. This club is all about looking out for one another and pulling up sandbags on a regular basis, having the mick taken out of each other, then falling down a lot!
If you are looking for a club that has the values you had in the forces, which looks after it's members and a chance to work for your patch instead of being given it with a new bike, this is the one for you and whilst not actively seeking new members, always on the lookout for decent bods, so if this is the one for you, drop me a line on the attached e-mail address.
Hi, I'm Jurgen. I live in Germany and represent the club in Europe.
I joined The Corps of Royal Engineers in 1987 and left 13 years later after being stationed in Nienburg, Chatham (Christ knows what I did to deserve that), Hameln and finally Paderborn . During my time, I saw duty in Northern Ireland, The Gulf War `90-`91, and Bosnia.
I am married to Bettina , we have 2 children and at present I ride a Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder.
AAVMCC is not just a motorcycle club, we are a family of likeminded, bike riding, party going lunatics who have taken the military sense of humour and social life with them into civi street.
So if you feel that this is the club for you and would like to join this merry band of brothers, then send me an email and I will try to answer any questions you may ask ...
